An independent studio with a serious obsession for play

Blackout Games is an independent game development studio founded in 2023. We bring strong visual storytelling and art direction into everything we ship — from narrative adventures to serious games built with purpose.

Our network runs deep: from Sharif Science & Technology Park and the Iranian National Observatory to city-scale projects with Tehran Municipality and Tehran Metro. For us, games aren't just entertainment — they're a medium for building experiences you don't forget.

Teaching AI in advertising, showing up at events like AI Space, and crafting serious games are all part of a path we dig deeper into every single day.

Enlight

Enlight is the story of a girl named Nora, who lived in a world filled with the love of the Tree of Light. The envy of those dwelling far from the tree drove them to attack it, unleashing darkness — and amidst the chaos, Nora's parents, guardians of the light, were captured. Having secretly rescued the tree's final hope — its last fruit — Nora must now find a way to save her parents...

The studio comes to life — and wins Best Art Direction at the SharifGame competition in its very first year.

2024

BaziAra — Double Win

1st place for Highest Capital Raised and 2nd place for Best Game at the BaziAra event. The year that proved the path was right.

2025

Serious Games Hackathon

2nd place for Best Game at the Serious Games Hackathon — a serious step into games that go beyond entertainment.

2026

Chabahar & Beyond

Present at the Chabahar Creative Industries Event, with bigger projects on the horizon. This is only the beginning.
